Welcome to Park and Travel! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for using our booking services. By making a booking, you agree to comply with the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Booking Conditions
1.1 Confirmation and Responsibility
- Park and Travel will email your booking confirmation to the address provided at the time of booking. If you do not receive the confirmation, please contact us immediately.
- Failure to arrive for your booking without prior cancellation or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking date will result in no refund.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be made directly through Park and Travel, not with the car park provider.
- Cancellations can only be processed during office hours (Monday - Friday, 09:00 to 17:00). Please have your booking reference ready.
- No refunds are available for unused portions of a stay.
- Non-flexible bookings cannot be canceled.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking date are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are subject to a £15 administrative fee.
- Promotional offers are non-refundable, as stated in the booking details.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are only issued if the cancellation meets the terms outlined in our policy.
- Refund requests are processed within 7-10 business days.
- No refunds are provided for early pick-ups or unused days.
- If a booking is reinstated after cancellation, it will not be eligible for a refund if canceled again.
Payment Policy
- By making a booking, you authorize Park and Travel to charge your card for the full amount. It is your responsibility to provide accurate payment details.
- Any payment disputes must be reported to us within 24 hours of the transaction.
Liability
- Park and Travel acts as an agent for car parks and is not liable for their operations. However, we accept liability for proven errors in processing bookings.
- The car park operator is responsible for any damages or issues related to parking services. Claims must be made before leaving the car park.
Complaints Procedure
2.1 Submission of Complaints
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of returning to the UK. Include full details of the issue and your booking reference.
- We will respond to complaints within 5 business days.
2.2 Dispute Resolution
- All disputes regarding charges or services must be directed to our support team within 48 hours of the issue.
- Any claims for damages to the vehicle must be reported before leaving the car park.
2.3 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
- If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer, you must notify us immediately to prevent delays in resolution.
Limitation of Liability
3.1 Scope of Liability
- These terms apply only to bookings made directly through Park and Travel's website.
- Park and Travel is not liable for the provision of parking services; this responsibility lies with the car park operator.
- Our liability for any errors in processing bookings is limited to the total amount paid for the booking.
Customer Responsibility
- It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and complies with relevant laws (e.g., valid MOT certification). The car park may refuse service if your vehicle does not meet these requirements, and no refunds will be given.
Dispute Resolution
- Disputes with the car park operator must be handled according to their terms. If you wish to escalate the complaint after your return, notify us within 7 days.
We accept no liability for mechanical, structural and electrical failure of any part of your vehicle including windscreens, glass, tyres and alloys however caused. Please note any dash cam installed will be unplugged upon collection of the vehicle due to security reasons.
Data Protection and Privacy
4.1 Data Collection
- We collect personal information necessary for processing your booking, including your name, contact details, vehicle information, and payment data. This information is securely stored and only shared with the car park operator as required.
4.2 Data Security
- We use encryption and secure servers to protect your data. Payment information is processed by third-party payment gateways, and no card details are stored by us.
4.3 Customer Rights
- You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
5.1 Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
5.2 Jurisdiction
- Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
